It’s been a while since we last posted here, and we have made some big changes since then. While we have been busy continuing to provide quality in-home care to clients in Pierce and King counties, we have also been expanding our services to clients across Washington state. Here’s a quick timeline of what we have been up to in the last couple of years, and what you can expect from us (and this blog) in the future!
New HQ!
We outgrew our Bellevue office and transitioned into our new headquarters in Renton in March 2022. From this new location, our 6 teams of King County case managers facilitate in-home care for over 1,100 King County residents, working diligently to ensure that clients have access to care and communication.
Summer 2023
In the summer of 2023 we made major steps in growing our service area. We opened two new satellite offices - one in Vancouver servicing Clark and Cowlitz counties, and one in Bremerton servicing Kitsap county. These offices have both expanded our ability to connect with and provide care to aging and disabled populations in Washington state.
Our Vancouver office currently operates two teams of case managers providing services to over 300 clients. It is important to note that the rapid growth of this office has not stopped our teams from taking initiative to connect with and understand our clients on a more personal level. One example of exceptional service from our Vancouver team comes from Lead Case Manger Nancy Nguyen, whose client frequently commented on his affinity for apple pie when she called to check in on him. Nancy kept this in mind, as she was often reminded on their calls. When this client’s semi-annual in-home visit came due, Nancy brought an apple pie along for him to keep. This is becoming a lovely tradition for Nancy and her client, and they just enjoyed their second in-home visit over apple pie this month!
Our Kitsap County office in Bremerton currently serves over 150 Kitsap residents and is growing everyday. Our Bremerton team is dedicated to ensuring that clients in their care know they can count on strong communication and consistent care by strategically matching caregivers and clients based on preferences and needs. Recently staff in our Bremerton office were acknowledged by a Kitsap county state case manager for their transformational work with a specific client; the caregiver working with this client has made such a significant and positive impact on our client’s daily life that her state case manager described her as “a completely different woman” than she was at their initial CARE assessment. Cheers to our Bremerton admin and caregivers for reminding us all that this work is truly work that matters!
Northern Expansion
Most recently, in January of 2025, we have taken a more focused approach to expanding our services in Snohomish County. Where this region was once managed by our King County teams, we now have a team dedicated specifically to our northernmost clients, and a new budding office in Mountlake Terrace. This team currently serves over 200 clients and is working to develop a greater presence in Snohomish county.
Pierce County Glow-Up
Also, in January 2025, our Pierce County teams moved into our new office on Broadway in downtown Tacoma. Our four Pierce County teams currently serve over 900 clients and are a leader in in-home care in this region. We have big plans for expanding our caregiver training abilities in this new space and cannot wait to see what the future of our training department looks like as we continue to build out our goals.
Wins from the Wolf Pack
Speaking of caregivers, our HR department has been setting records for caregiver recruitment month over month, and in 2024 managed to onboard over 2,000 new caregiving staff. Their work has ensured that our client services teams have access to qualified and compassionate staff to place in client homes.
As you can see, we have been busily working to extend our services far and wide. We strive to ensure our clients and caregivers feel supported, informed, and confident in the care we provide. Moving forward, we will use this blog space as a place to share seasonal updates, highlight exceptional performance, and provide information regarding best practices. We have a lot of exciting projects in the works, so please check back in with us here for all of the updates!
