Paying for Care Services
First Choice In-Home Care provides in-home personal care services to seniors as well, wherein, the individual receiving care services or the individual's family is responsible to pay for the care services provided. In the event a long-term care insurance policy is in effect, First Choice may be able to arrange with you the direct billing to your insurance provider.
On a daily basis your Home Care Aide will complete a time sheet showing hours worked and services provided. At the end of shift worked by the Home Care Aide, you will be asked to approve and sign the time sheet.
On a weekly basis time sheets will be submitted to First Choice and we will then provide you with a Weekly Service Statement. Payment for services is to be made weekly via credit card or personal check.
You will only be billed for care service hours worked by the Home Care Aide. However, in the event you have required transportation services, you will also be asked to approve and sign the Weekly Mileage Report. Mileage is only charged if the Home Care Aide was required to transport using their personal vehicle. If the Home Care Aide transports using your vehicle, no mileage will be charged. Mileage is charged at $0.60 per mile.
