How Do I Get Started
Home Care Aides employed by First Choice provide personal care and respite care services to clients of DSHS/DDD/Aging & Long Term Care.
If you are in need of a Home Care Aide to provide Personal care or Respite care services you can contact us by calling our main office line at 425-747-5000 or 253-926-2230 or Toll Free at 1-866-912-4922. When you call ask to speak with a Program Manager or our Program Director and they will be able to answer your questions and assist you in getting care services started immediately.
When you call we will discuss the services you require and we will schedule an in-home visit with you. The in-home visit is required to complete the necessary paperwork and will give us the opportunity to discuss in detail the care requirements needed and your expectations of the Home Care Aide who will perform the care services. The in-home visit generally is completed within 45 minutes to one hour.
You should also know that Home Care Aides employed by First Choice are required to complete the following training programs:
- CPR/First Aid
- Fundamentals of Care Giving
- Nurse Delegation
- Continuing Education (10 hours annually)
The purpose of the training program is to provide our clients with qualified Home Care Aides who have the skills and ability to provide the care you expect and deserve.
